We are looking to fill 2 Part time Housekeeping positions at Sandy Beach Lodge & Resort in beautiful Naramata. This position would start May 1st with an expected end date of October 31st. Our ideal candidate enjoys working in a team dynamic, takes pride in their job and every task given them, and endeavors to help in making our Guest’s stay a happy and memorable one. The shifts will vary and willing to work weekends is a must.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
– Clean and maintain assigned areas, including guest rooms, cottages, public areas, and back-of-house spaces
– Dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sweeping floors
– Changing linens and making beds
– Replenishing amenities and supplies in guest rooms
– Cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms
– Emptying trash and recycling bins
-Serving breakfast and washing dishes
– Reporting any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
– Adhering to all company policies and procedures regarding cleanliness and safety
Experience:
– Previous experience in hotel or custodial housekeeping preferred
– Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products used in hospitality industry
– Ability to handle cleaning equipment and chemicals safely
– Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
– Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
Skills:
